one thing that always bothers me about these videos, is how its always like: person who is hired to do job, is fired for doing job poorly, then rich person tries to do job, doesnt know how to, apologizes because job is hard. But like? lets be real here. if i went to like a restaurant and complained about the food being bad, im not gonna feel sorry for them just because i dont know how to do it myself? because i dont do it as my job. If its literally your job, it shouldnt really matter how hard it is, youre getting paid for it, so the expectation of you knowing how to do it should be a bit higher.

I feel like these people are expecting a luxurious gourmet product when it's a store brand. Store brand is supposed to be cheap and affordable. I think the low expectation is a given so that if you did find a hidden gem in these products, you would be pleasantly surprised. Also as an Asian, tofu is a staple food for me along with other soy product - tempeh and soy milk primarily, but I guess not everyone likes it :) Best kind of tofu is the puffy one and that kind seems very rare in Australia - most Australian tofu here is either the hard one that doesn't absorb anything or the silken one that just falls apart.
